Round 2 and La Roca showed significant improvements from the previous game against RCD Espanyol to comfortably defeat Mercantil at Mercantil. La Roca began with a catastrophic defensive error to concede a goal in the first minute but dominated the game while displaying a clear technical, tactical and physical superiority to eventually run out winners 2-6. It was a noticeably improved performance from La Roca but 2 major defensive errors and some other defensive uncertainties need to be rectified as does the precision in attack with La Roca creating 36 strong attacks but only converting 6. However, it was a good win in an improved performance with still plenty of room to improve further.
While La Roca was a team full of good players in this game, Natasha was a standout as she controlled the midfield like a boss. She had over 50 posessions, won countless duels, tidied up many stray passes and continually pushed La Roca into attack with her precise passing game. She had 1 assist, 3 or 4 key passes and about 3 shots at goal in what was a very commanding performance in every regard.
